‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Melanie Returns With A Huge Secret, New Love Interest

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the upcoming weeks reveal that Molly Burnett will return as Melanie Jonas. Melanie will come home to Salem and her family, Daniel and Maggie, but she’ll also bring back with her a huge secret.

Melanie Jonas will be carrying a big secret, and that for some shocking reason, she’ll be on the run from the European police. Molly Burnett teased the reason behind Melanie’s return in a recent interview.

“She may have impulsively made a little mistake. Okay, a big mistake. She needs to get out of Europe ASAP.”

Molly revealed that fans will see that Melanie did something stupid, illegal, and really made someone mad in the process.

“She made a very typical Melanie mistake. I’m serious when I say she’s grown and evolved but a person doesn’t change too much. Maggie hasn’t been there to smack her around.”

What could Melanie have done to be wanted by the police? Did she get involved with a shady man, or commit a serious crime? Days of Our Lives fans will have to wait for all to be uncovered in the upcoming weeks.

Meanwhile, actress Molly Burnett recently told TV Guide that she’s excited to be back on Days of Our Lives, and debunked a rumor that she would be bringing Chad DiMera’s baby back with her.

“That would be crazy. By the way, Chad, here’s your kid! I don’t think that’s going to come to fruition — but how fun would that be? We do need more DiMeras. We just lost Kristen and it was so hard watching EJ go down. Such a beautiful man. Ali Sweeney just killed those scenes!”

While Days of Our Lives fans will watch Melanie fear for her life and safety upon her return to Salem, she’ll also likely get a new love interest, which could be her dear friend, Brady Black.

“Well… I don’t know. Brady’s her best friend in the world. I guess friendship does sometimes turn to love.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Molly Burnett returns to Days of Our Lives just as Alison Sweeney and Eileen Davidson exited the NBC soap.

However, Eileen Davidson has been confirmed to return to the show after the first of the year, and will likely stir things up with Brady, so if Melanie and Brady do get close, it should be interesting to see some scenes between Davidson and Burnett.
