WWE News: Brock Lesnar Added To ‘Monday Night Raw’ After Royal Rumble

With the news that broke about Brock Lesnar’s interest in a UFC return, the WWE World Heavyweight champion is under a lot of scrutiny for many reasons. One, he might jump ship back to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which would entail that his long WWE title reigns wasted a lot of time. That is up to interpretation, but being gone for so long just to leave a few months after reappearing seems a bit ridiculous.

Another reason is his extended absence. When Lesnar decimated John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight championship, many WWE fans were under the impression that he would show up once a month, or rather once every two months to defend his title. He’s wrestled one time since winning the championship and shown up on on episode of Monday Night Raw after beating Cena for the second time.

If you ask most WWE fans, they are not happy with the direction Lesnar’s title reign went. There is no changing the past, so moving on is the easiest thing to do. For the first time in a while, Lesnar’s name is coming up in many dates throughout the next few months. After looking at them closely, the Beast Incarnate will be used more in a short period of time than sparingly throughout many months.

The official website of the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, is advertising WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar for the Dec. 15, 2014 RAW.

Lesnar is also advertised for the following dates: Dec. 8, 2014 — Greenville, South Carolina; Dec. 29, 2014 — Washington, D.C; Jan. 12, 2015 — New Orleans, Louisiana; Jan. 19, 2015 — Dallas, Texas.

Being that Lesnar is advertised for the RAW after the Royal Rumble, that makes it a nearly a guarantee that he is wrestling at the Royal Rumble. His opponent is not confirmed, but Cena seems like the popular candidate at this time. After Team Cena defeats Team Authority on Sunday, what will Cena have left to do? A feud with anybody other than Lesnar isn’t logical at this time.

Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose are doing their thing. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan may enter a program of their own, which will be very interesting to watch. Another Kane and Cena would bring with it boredom and laziness from the WWE Creative staff. The only other option would let Seth Rollins face Cena a few times until Lesnar makes his return to WWE TV. As much as I like the fact that the WWE World Heavyweight champion is not on all the time, it’s getting to be a saturated idea at this point. Plus, where does Roman Reigns fit into this? That’s another giant question entirely.
