‘All About That Baste’ Meghan Trainor Thanksgiving Parody Goes Viral [Video]

The Holderness family, best known for their Christmas Jammies YouTube hit, is at it again. This time the family created a Thanksgiving parody video of Meghan Trainor’s hit All About That Bass. The newest YouTube hit is titled All About That Baste and features some of the common Thanksgiving problems families encounter when preparing a feast for family.

The video has gone viral and has been watched over 1.5 million times as of the time of this posting. The chorus line is pretty catchy.

“Because you know I’m all about that baste, bout that baste, more butter.”

In the video you can see the dad struggling to do his part for Thanksgiving. After messing up the dining room after he “put all the wrong forks in all the wrong places,” he went on to be banished from pie duty for the fear of burning them. His stuffing was dry and his casserole was runny; basically, the dad was not contributing to the Thanksgiving feast until he got put on baste duty.

The video is pretty cute and will definitely leave you in the holiday spirit. Though the Christmas Jammies video was what catapulted the family to YouTube fame, they have had some other pretty awesome videos in between. If there is a holiday, most likely the Holderness family has covered it. From their back-to-school hit Baby Got Class, to their Gin and Juice Halloween parody, this family definitely takes the holidays to a whole new level.
