Everyone’s talking about black Friday this week, but come Valentine’s day, the conversation will turn to pink Friday. Nicki Minaj announced today that she’ll be releasing her new album, “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,” on Valentine’s Day in 2012.

And of course, Nicki’s alter ego Roman Zolanski will make his return as well.

Cash Money co-CEO and founder Brian “Birdman” Williams told Billboard:

“Nicki’s back in the studio, so we’re looking to drop Nicki in the first quarter. We’re really thinking it out. But she’s in the studio, and we’re looking real soon, because she’s ready to go and we’re ready to go with her.”

Minaj just received Billboard’s “Rising Star” award. She’ll receive the award at Billboard’s “Women in Music” event on Dec. 2 in New York City.

Nicki Minaj’s debut album, “Pink Friday,” which included hits like “Super Bass” and “Moment 4 Life,” debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album was the highest selling hip-hop debut from a female artist in history.

Minaj tweeted at the time:

“So Pink Friday under the ‘HipHop/Rap’ genre has the highest selling first week from a female in HISTORY. #cheers.”
