Lisa Vanderpump On Teresa Giudice Prison Sentence: ‘What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger’
As Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teresa Giudice looks toward some lengthy prison time, along with her husband Joe, there’s no shortage of advice and criticism, wanted or unwanted, from people associated with Hollywood’s most notorious couple.
One such person, who felt it was high time for her time to share her thoughts on the crisis facing the Giudice family, is Lisa Vanderpump, who shared her views with E! News recently.
Her position is different from many others who feel that Teresa got her just desserts for her previous misdemeanors, as Vanderpump told the publication, “I have a lot of empathy for her situation as regarding her children and the family, because I know she’s absolutely a wonderful mother. She worships the children, so I do feel sorry for her about that, I really do.”
Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison on fraud charges, and will reportedly serve her term while her husband, who was sentenced to 41 months inside, will look after their children, pending his prison sentence.
While Teresa has expressed that she is worried about leaving the kids with Joe, she also said she has every confidence in his abilities to take care of them while she serves her 15-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut.
Even though Lisa Vanderpump feels for Teresa Giudice, she also feels that the sentence she received was a fair one, under the circumstances.
“Unfortunately, you know, actions have consequences and I don’t know exactly what went down, but I know certainly, just from one Housewife to another, I send her love and support, and what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” she said.
There’s no question that, despite what happened in the past, the Giudice’s are going through a really tough time right now, and Lisa Vanderpump’s comforting words of empathy will no doubt be very welcome to both Teresa and Joe, especially seeing as no one else has anything very complimentary to say about them.
