people have the right to choose what a word means and stands for, for instance in america a "fag" is a homosexual person and that's offensive to homosexuals, in England a "fag" is simply a ciggerette, its all about terminology, people get offended by words because they reference themselves upon it and are insecure… I swear all the time doesn't mean I'm angry or mad or trying to offend anyone its just how I talk (ofc I don't talk like that at work for obvious reasons) my point is there is a time and a place and everyone has the right to choose the definition of a word and if its offensive, if they get offended fine they have that right if they don't then meh life goes on. its just a word people. if I said "nigger" to one of my black friends he wouldn't care, its just a word, times are changing, words don't mean what they used to.
