NeNe Leakes Claims She Helped Phaedra Parks The Most During Sentencing

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes loves talking about her ventures and accomplishments, but she doesn’t have the best support from her co-stars. In fact, it appears that NeNe is standing on her own these days. She has been working in Las Vegas and she recently signed on to do several performances on Broadway.

But while NeNe Leakes has been performing and growing her career, she has been back in Atlanta to offer support to a specific person. When the news broke about Apollo Nida’s sentencing, NeNe didn’t say much to the press. Many people thought she didn’t care because she and Phaedra haven’t always been on good terms. Leakes kept saying she never knew Phaedra growing up. But now, she has changed her tune.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is now revealing that she was actually Phaedra’s rock after Apollo got sentenced to eight years in jail. As fans saw on the premiere episode, Phaedra was bashed by her husband, who felt betrayed by her as she wasn’t around during his sentencing.

“As far as Phaedra and Apollo, it’s always sad to see a family end no matter who’s right or wrong. I’m glad I can say I was a rock for Phaedra during this time and never judged her. This definitely should be an eye opener for her as well, because it’s always the ones you never thought would support you that do and the ones you thought would be there during rough times that always seem to magically disappear,” NeNe Leakes has revealed about Phaedra’s marriage.

NeNe Leakes has had her own issues with friends while filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Leakes and her former best friend, Cynthia Bailey, are no longer friends. They have been hurling insults at one another in the press. While NeNe said Cynthia was playing the victim role, Bailey said NeNe needed to invest in decent wigs and flattering makeup.

According to the Inquisitr, Bailey has said she is a strong believer in the fact that NeNe Leakes is trying to destroy her. She claims that people who are on NeNe’s side shouldn’t be worried, but people who are not her friend should watch their back. And now that she is no longer Leakes’ friend, she feels she is a primary target. Cynthia believes this is shown by how much NeNe is actually talking about her in the press.
