‘Destiny’: Xur’s Location And Exotic Goods For Weekend Of November 14
Xûr, Agent of the Nine, returns to the Tower in Destiny once again for the weekend of Friday, November 14. The vendor with the dark visage has yet another collection of exotic armor, weapons, and curios for PlayStation and Xbox player. Gather up your Strange Coins and Motes of Light to see if his wares interest you.
This weekend, Xûr can be found across from the Speaker in the Tower North. Simply head to the left when you first spawn in the Tower and you’ll find him standing in front of a large, round door across from the speaker’s entrance. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map just to be sure though.
Xûr and his items will only be available through the morning of Sunday, November 16. He disappears again once the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT.
We once again appear to be hitting peak Xûr as the armor on sale has all been offered before, like last week. The weapon, however, is all new. This is the first time The Last Word hand cannon has appeared in the mysterious vendor’s collection. As for the armor, this is once again an opportunity for those working on their second or third Guardian or those coming to Destiny late to obtain some excellent armor. For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The Last Word is one of the best, if not the best, hand cannon currently in Destiny. Aside from a unique sound when fired and a nifty twirl animation when equipping, it has a ridiculously good impact rating and rate of fire for a hand cannon. There are perks that help with the recoil, hip fire, and an even faster rate of fire too.
The Amramentarium chest armor for Titans is for those who like to use their special weapon, heavy weapon, and grenades frequently. It comes with three upgrade perks that allows users to carry additional ammo for the two weapons classes, plus an extra grenade.
The Crest of Alpha Lupi is for Hunters who roll with Hand Cannons as their primary weapons and also favor their special weapon. It comes with two perks to increase the amount of ammo you can carry for both. It’s also good for team players, as the Keeper of the Pack perk will allow you to revive fallen teammates faster, be revived faster, and drop additional orbs for your teammates when you use your super ability.
Voidfang Vestments is the only Exotic Warlock chest piece that comes with a perk for the Voidwalker sub-class. The Improved Axion Bolt perk will spawn an additional seeker for Axion Bolt grenades. You also respawn with full grenade energy. There is also a Hand Cannon Ammo and Special Weapon Ammo perk to allow you to carry additional ammo for both.
