Watch: New Official ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Trailer Released During ‘Scandal’ [Video]
Universal Studios has finally released the full trailer to Fifty Shades of Grey.
A number of teaser trailers leading up to the Valentine’s Day 2015 release have been debuted since filming. However, the official trailer was released during the commercial break of the popular ABC series, Scandal, this evening.
As Forbes points out, the pairing of Scandal and Fifty Shades of Grey makes perfect sense from a demographic standpoint.
“The demographics are ripe for the picking, and I can’t imagine anyone who turns into Shonda Rhimes’s Scandal would get offended by a trailer for Universal’s feature film adaptation of E.L. James’s BDSM-tinged Twilight fan-fiction novels.”
E! News was thoroughly impressed with the official trailer and thinks it will keep fans excited about the February movie release.
“Fans of the highly anticipated erotica adaptation got a sneak peek of the film back in July, but tonight, we were able to see more of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s sexy on-screen chemistry, providing an even bigger tease for what’s to come once February rolls along… Giving a glimpse from their first interaction to their blossoming romance to flying in Charlie Tango and making use of Christian Grey’s Red Room of Pain (oooh), fans will find themselves very satisfied (no pun intended… OK, maybe a little) with the latest trailer.”
The trailer features both Dornan and Johnson showing tidbits of their relationship as it unfolds. The trailer also features music by Beyoncé leaving many fans already noting they will be purchasing the soundtrack.
