Kate William Gala: Duchess Kate Dons Black DVF, Baby Bump Meets One Direction
Kate and William attended a gala on Thursday and all eyes were on the Duchess! According to E! News, Kate wore a black lace, floor-length Diane von Furstenberg gown. The pregnant royal completed her look with an elegant low curled hairstyle and diamond dangle earrings. Naturally, everyone was checking out Kate’s mid-section and if you look real close, you can just see the makings of a baby bump.

Kate and William mingled at the gala, shaking hands with the members of One Direction, as evidenced by the photo above. Kate had a huge smile on her face as she shook hands with heartthrob Harry Styles. According to Mail Online, Kate Middleton is 16 weeks pregnant, and while you may not be able to tell just yet, Harry congratulated the Duchess on her “bump.”
“I said congratulations on the bump,” Harry said, admitting after that Kate “didn’t look bumpy.” The other guys in the group weren’t too chatty.
“It’s the most nervous I think I’ve ever been in my life,” said Liam Payne.
“I didn’t say ma’am. I said — Hi. How are you? I’m Louis,” explained Louis Tomlinson, likely forgetting his manners because he was in awe.
Meanwhile Prince William — who looked dapper in a black tux — told the guys that he’d been keeping tabs on their career. Evidently William is a fan — but he was probably keeping a close eye on Harry, to make sure he didn’t “steal his girl.”
Kate and William attended the gala together as part of their royal duties. Since Kate Middleton is doing better following a bout of hyperemesis gravidarum, she is back on schedule. Because she was forced to cancel a couple of engagements, she has been doing a bit more lately. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kate is rumored to be heading to New York City with Prince William and the couple’s son, Prince George, next month. Originally, Kate was not slated to go across the pond but palace sources say that she will make the trip to sort of make up for missing a few of her previous engagements. This would be Kate’s first trip to the Big Apple, a place she says that she has wanted to visit since she was a young girl.
