Jenny McCarthy, Donnie Wahlberg Reality TV Show A Go: ‘Donnie Loves Jenny’ Coming Soon

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have a reality TV show coming out that will follow the couple throughout their newlywed days. Donnie Loves Jenny will be a 10-episode docuseries that will air on A&E.

Deadline reports that Donnie Loves Jenny will start off with Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg’s wedding, which took place last August. After the one-hour wedding episode, nine half-hour episodes will follow. Wahlberg’s family already has another show on A&E titled Wahlburgers, which is set in the restaurant Donnie and his brothers own. That show will be back for another season.

The new show with Jenny and Donnie partnering with A&E is the first show coming out of the couple’s new deal between their D&J Productions production company and the network. Production is said to be starting immediately with an unspecified 2015 premiere date.

Wahlburgers viewers saw quite a bit of Donnie and Jenny’s romance throughout the first season of the show, and now the next part of their journey as newlyweds will be featured via its own venue. The new show will follow Jenny and Donnie as they work on blending their families and balancing their hectic schedules.

The couple said, “Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us?” They added, “We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together.” The two will also executive produce the show along with 44 Blue Production’s Rasha Drachkovitch.

Jenny was fired from The View after the last season, but she’s now started a SiriusXM show called Dirty, Sexy, Funny With Jenny McCarthy. In addition to popping up on Wahlburgers, Donnie currently stars on the CBS show Blue Bloods.

While McCarthy tends to be a controversial figure, whether it be over her raunchy sense of humor or her outspoken viewpoints on vaccines and autism, many still love her. The romance between Jenny and Donnie has had fans swooning since the two first got together and their summer wedding ceremony was just the icing on the cake.

As Us Weekly shares, McCarthy and Wahlberg got married in a small event outside of Chicago in August. They had about 90 guests at the nuptials, though many buzzed at the time about the fact that Donnie’s brother Mark Wahlberg and his family did not attend. Though fans have seen some photos from the big day, they will be excited to see footage on Donnie Loves Jenny from the event.

While fans will have to stay tuned for now regarding a specific premiere date, Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg’s new show Donnie Loves Jenny is expected to debut in early 2015.
