PS4 Vs Xbox One: Black Friday 2014 Deals You Should Watch For

On Black Friday 2014, the question of PS4 vs Xbox One may soon be a serious battle again. This time it has nothing to do with console specs or any of the usual arguing grounds.

The time is almost here for console gamers to let their wallets do the talking, because for the night after Thanksgiving, Sony and Microsoft have teased some nice deals which might convert those who waited to upgrade. In Microsoft‘s case, they haven’t forgotten that some users preferred to “stay behind,” still offering their Xbox 360 at a discount.

On Sony’s side comes the promise of new bundles at lower than usual prices. The PlayStation 4 is expected to come bundled with the following titles:

  • inFamous: Second Son – As Delsin Rowe, you’re up against a group of hunters bent on taking out conduits such as yourself.
  • The Last of Us Remastered – The zombie apocalypse has happened, and disgruntled fighter Joel must find and lead teenager Ellie to safety, and learn why she is so important.
  • Killzone: Shadow Fall – As Lucas Kellan, you must investigate a rising threat in the continuing war, and see how far your previous efforts have gone.
  • Grand Theft Auto V (rumored) – Michael, Trevor, and Franklin are all drawn back into the dangerous world of crime in an effort to make it out alive and very rich.

All PS4 bundles are expected to hit shelves on Black Friday 2014 at a “very competitive MSRP.”

Microsoft has a little more up its sleeve to sway the PS4 vs Xbox One balance. Much like Sony, they plan to drop some prices on Black Friday 2014, but they’re offering more than bundles. The list is as follows:

  • Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle
  • Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle
  • Sunset Overdrive
  • Forza Horizon 2
  • Watch Dogs (Xbox One)
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts (Xbox One)
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (Xbox One)
  • Kinect Sports Rivals
  • Dead Rising 3
  • Diablo III (Xbox One)
  • Metro Redux (Xbox One)
  • The Evil Within (Xbox One)
  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (Xbox One)

Microsoft is also continuing to support its older console for the holidays, with the Xbox 360 4GB Peggle 2 Bundle, and the standard Xbox 360 4GB console. It is suggested that you buy an additional Microsoft hard drive if you plan to get the most out of it and install games to it. The 4GB option doesn’t come with a hard drive.

The PS4 vs Xbox One console war continues, and is set to wage war on your wallet again on Black Friday 2014.

No prices have been announced yet, but now you know what to expect.
