NeNe Leakes Is In A ‘Funny Place’ After Apollo Nida Heading To Jail
NeNe Leakes is the queen of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and she keeps returning to the show to protect the throne from Kenya Moore. And since she keeps returning to film the show, Leakes has no problem dishing her thoughts on this upcoming season. And it doesn’t seem like she is in the middle of the trouble.
NeNe Leakes got married to her husband once again on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and she is trying to stay away from the drama. However, NeNe has to deal with her failing friendship, as Cynthia Bailey burned their friendship contract in the preview for the season.
According to a new Reality Tea report, NeNe Leakes spoke out about everything that has happened to the cast on Watch What Happens Live. She sat down with Andy Cohen to share her thoughts on this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, especially since so much has changed. And Leakes even has some thoughts about Apollo’s sentencing.
“I had mixed feelings about it. I tried to put myself in that place. I am married, I would want to support my husband in the good and bad, but I can understand how it might have been difficult. I’m in a funny place with it,” NeNe Leakes explains of Apollo Nida’s sentencing.
NeNe explains that she is done with her friendship with Cynthia Bailey. It is uncertain what happened between them, but the friendship was already going downhill during the reunion special of The Real Housewives of Atlanta last season.
“I think it’s sad Cynthia’s acting like I ‘knocked her over’ or something. I don’t have the time. I’m on Broadway,” NeNe Leakes explained of the drama with Cynthia Bailey, saying, “no, no, and no,” when asked if she could become friends with Cynthia again.
It sounds like NeNe Leakes would much rather focus on the positive aspects of her life. Leakes has been dealing with her health, as she was diagnosed with having blood clots last season. She continued to compete on Dancing with the Stars, but now she is focusing on her perfect health and her Broadway debut. According to the Inquisitr, NeNe stayed home from the cast trip this year.
But NeNe may be planning a trip to a jail during her The Real Housewives of Atlanta downtime. NeNe has revealed that she would visit Teresa Giudice in jail to see how she is doing once she goes in on January 5.
