Rihanna In Danger? Stalker ‘A Ticking Time Bomb,’ Says Judge

A New York City judge has decreed that a man who was seen outside Rihanna’s Manhattan apartment and even sent her threatening letters needs to stay away from the singer.

Back in September, Kevin McGlynn was committed to a Staten Island psychiatric hospital after it was deemed that he was unfit to stand trail for his stalking charges. McGlynn and his lawyers didn’t feel that was just, so he has recently filed a petition seeking his release.

Judge Orlando Marrazzo finally released his decision on Friday, which stated that police are now allowed to arrest to McGlynn if he goes anywhere near Rihanna’s home.

This means that they don’t have to wait for him to do anything dangerous while in her vicinity. It was also announced that 54-year-old McGlynn also isn’t allowed to contact Rihanna by phone, mail, or computer.

It was at this point that it was revealed just how intense, threatening, and morbid McGlynn’s letters to the chart-topping singer had been. The notes made references to both sexual assault and murder. According to Judge Marrazzo, McGlynn also went on to insist that Rihanna, as well as a number of other artists, had stolen his own material and then used it in their songs.

Because of his actions, Marrazzo went on to compare McGlynn to Mark David Chapman. Chapman was the sociopath who shot and killed John Lennon outside his New York City apartment in 1980.

He then provided a rather scary and damning summation of McGlynn’s pursuit of Rihanna, and he insinuated that if actions weren’t taken to stop his stalking of the singer, then she could be in real danger.

“He appears to be a ticking time bomb who is wholly fixated on (Rihanna), and poses a direct threat of serious physical harm or death to her and anyone around her.”

Kevin McGlynn’s lawyers, who, according to Yahoo! News, work the state-run mental health agency, haven’t commented on the matter.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has also recently announced her Rogue fragrance for men, which is called Rogue Man. Rihanna has insisted that she has taken an innovative approach to the fragrance.

“I’m all about the ladies so this is one time I get to do something special for my men, but the ladies still get to enjoy it. It draws people in and also creates memories and makes things stick and certain emotions are evoked through it at certain moments and you remember it.”
