Kris Humphries Lawyers Up For Kardashian Divorce
For the last few weeks, Kris Humphries has been pretty quiet about his divorce with Kim Kardashian. But the NBA star has finally hired a lawyer to help him through the divorce proceedings.
Humphries has hired Minnesota-based lawyer Lee Hutton to represent him during the divorce. Hutton also represented Humphries when Kim and Kris filed their prenuptial agreement.
According to E! Online, Humphries decided to hire Hutton to make sure that the divorce proceedings go smoothly. A source close to Humphries stated:
“He doesn’t want a war. He’s lying low.”
Humphries said that he would do anything to make his marriage with Kim work. Humphries told TMZ:
“I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce … I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”
But now that both parties have hired lawyers, it looks like there is no turning back.
According to the Huffington Post, Kim Kardashian asked the court to reject any request by Humphries for spousal support. Kim also said that Kris should be paying for his own legal fees.
Before Kim and Kris got married Kim had Humphries sign a prenuptial agreement to protect all of her assets. Kim should be able to keep all assets prior to the marriage (the Kardashians pulled in $65 million last year alone) and all money she made during the 72 days of marriage.
In contrast, Kris, who actually has a talent, makes $3 million a year. Of course, Kris is also currently unemployed due to the lockout.
The Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian divorce should go pretty smooth. The only way things could get hairy is if Kim’s ex-publicist was right and the marriage was a sham.

What the hell, I think everyone should stop watching kardashians of any kind, they have let money go to there heads not the same anymore, I hope she gets what she deserves, also agree that that was marraige was a sham and to make them more money they are nothing but money whores, wish Kris the best good luck take it to her!

Kris doesn't know how big a favor Kim did for him, and evn though she flaunts her stuff, that whole family is loosing ground fast, the younger sisters don't stand a chance, thanks to mom and sisiters. Kris needs to be counting blessings and know all the things he feared out of that marriage, would have been a reality.

Totally agree with Debbie's comment previous; all this circus arrangement did was enhance Kris Humphries profile & demolished any interest the public had in the shamefullness of the Kardashian monopoly game. They embarrass themselves more & more. Their grammar is deplorable, the way the girls speak to their mother & Bruce is disprespectful, the reputation they've created is tasteless. Hopefully Kris Humphries will see in hindsight, with time & maturity that this falling apart is the best thing that he could have wished for. They didn't adore him the way as they do Lamar Odom because he's assertive & appears to have values that conflict with their lack thereof. He's also not a million dollar player & that's just not good enough for Princess Kim & her court jesters. He'll find a nice girl who will appreciate his good family & he won't have to buy her a 20 carat ring becasue she'll love the 2 carat just as well.

I think they should have to split EVERYTHING she made during the marriage and for all the photos she got paid for. I use to be such a KK fan now I am just disgusted by her. She is so fake it literally makes me sick. I used to think she was so beautiful but the more ugly someone is as a person the more ugly they look on the outside. I am so glad the chick is hitting the skids. Good luck landing a man to marry you now that everyone knows you don't believe in the commitment unless its for publicity…which you won't have to worry about that commitment in a year either ROFL.

I think Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian are two different people when it comes to being married and living together. I could tell by the show that they had two very different views on married life and how they would like the household to be run. Kris wanted to be the man of the household. He wants to lead and Kim follow and she just wasn't having that. Also Kris has an attitude problem. I didn't like him from the get-go. I think Kim was in love with the wedding not so much with Kris.

Since Kim was the one who pull the plug on Kris she needed to be made to pay all the legal fed on her 72 day skamp. I hnow there was a prenupt but this is her doing not his. All I can say the lady needed tobe left alone. All she good for bed hopping any way.

Anyone who watched that disaster of a wedding on E saw that it was a sham and Kim was not at all into what a real marriage is all about. It was all about money…even the fact she didn't want to take his name. You just watch…next will be the release of a honeymoon sex tape for more money off of this sham! Kris got done dirty; flat out! Like he had said, the marriage was scripted; from waht I believe, Kim did it to get attention and money. Only reasons for divorce to me are CHEATING or ABUSE.
Kim has no honor. Not in her 1st marriage (where she wanted to become famous) or 2nd to Kris. She'll die lonely w/ alot of money and, what she calls, fame. If you really think about "talent", Kim has NONE! No talent in acting, singing, sports, or reality TV. I still don't understand WHY she is famous. Must be her late Father (great lawyer; much respect), mother (who had her model for her own benefit), BRUCE JENNER, the ONLY spot of talent on the show next to his own daughter; Olympiad tri-athlete, and, after the show debuted, ODOM, her sisters husband in the NBA, which they were not together long either before marriage.
Kardashian women have NO REAL TALENT and do not belong on television or be idolized PERIOD! They are all bimbos.
I hope Kris Humphries takes her for everything. He deserves it after what Kim did. I can't blame him what so ever.

I think Kim should keep her money its hers and not his. Kim is the one who worked hard for her money while Kris was unemployed. It dosent seem logical for Kris to take anything from Kim. I don't see why anyone would feel entitled to anything that dosent pretain to them or that they didn't work for.
