WWE: Vince McMahon’s Permission Needed For Hulk Hogan’s Match At WrestleMania 31

Vince McMahon and TripleH apparently are not feeling very good about Hulk Hogan wanting to wrestle a final match at WrestleMania 31. The 61-year-old WWE Hall Of Fame wrestler is apparently still training in hopes of having his final hurrah, but it’s possible the WWE management will nix his plans.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, Stone Cold Steve Austin claims that he hates Vince McMahon’s “sports entertainment,” which is an opinion shared by CM Punk. It’s rumored that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Mr. McMahon might take on The Authority for WrestleMania 31.

Hulk Hogan has long said that John Cena would be his dream match, although he acknowledges that is a long shot. Everyone knows that Hogan is getting a bit old to be climbing into the ring for a match, and even Hogan himself admits his TNA wrestling matches were “embarrassing.”

“The thing is, I watch the old tapes of myself, WCW, and it’s embarrassing because towards the end I was getting to where it was embarrassing to kind of like be in there and then I watch the TNA (Wrestling) stuff and that was a nightmare. I tried to get in there. I was in the middle of the back surgeries trying to keep up. The doctors would say ‘you’ll be fine’ but to watch it now is embarrassing.”

According to a CBS interview, Hulk Hogan claims the situation is now different, but the hard part is convincing Vince McMahon and Triple H that he’s ready. Despite not receiving a go-ahead, Hogan has been continuing hist wrestling training, lost a few pounds of fat, and claims he is no longer suffering from any back pain.

Of course, whether or not he’s ready to give a final leg drop or big boot on Cena, Austin, The Undertaker, Sting, Brock Lesnar or any other potential opponent on his wish list is another matter entirely. Several years ago, Hogan messed up his back by beach-combing for seashells and he was rushed into emergency surgery to repair the damage. Modern medicine may be good, but it likely can’t pull off a miracle — and McMahon knows this.

Speaking of pulling off miracles, Hulk was quite the critic of Vince McMahon making the WWE Network free for November.

“I think Vince McMahon must have been hit in the head with one of your turnbuckles, brother! That’s crazy!”

Do you think Vince McMahon and Triple H should allow Hulk Hogan to have a final match at WrestleMania 31? If so, who should the opponent be?
