Ex-Spice Girl Straight But Experimented With The ‘Bi-Side Phase’ In Her Past

From time to time over her music career, former Spice Girls singer Mel B faced questions about her sexuality. In the past, the America’s Got Talent and X Factor judge has been cagey about lesbian rumors. However, Mel aka Scary Spice, recently dished on whether she was gay or not. It turns out that the curvy entertainer experimented with other women but today she is most comfortable in her heterosexual relationship with her husband.

A fellow Brit, Harry Styles, knows all too well about rumors that call his sexuality into question. The One Directioner recently had a response to the growing controversy and bisexuality claims. To that, he said that gender is not important when it comes to love.

The ex-Spice Girl, 39, recently was a guest on TV’s Alan’s Carr: Chatty Man, where she spoke openly about heterosexual women in the business who had transformed into lesbians. The conversation was a perfect segue into Mel B’s own sexuality, to which she said, “I was one of those for a few years. ” However, she clears up any confusion about her sexual desires today by gushing over her relationship with Stephen Belafonte, her husband of seven years. In her bisexual moment back in the day, Scary Spice Girl insists it was a “phase,” and she has moved on, according to Daily Mail.

“I would not call it that. I was just one of those ladies. Now I’m happily married.”

Once the air was clear about the Spice Girls’ sexuality rumors, Mel B turned her attention to hot fellow X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. While her conversation with the television hosts appeared to dismiss any current attraction to females, she spoke affectionately of Cheryl.

“She is such a lovely girl, and man has she been through a lot, a lot — and it’s all been on public display. She’s just solid and true, and she’s gorgeous, nice to talk to, she’s not b****y at all — trust me, if she was b*****y, she’d be on the floor. I’d ‘ave her.”

And then, the loosen up things a bit, the former spunky Spice Girls outspoken member revealed something about her attire she wore to the chat: she wasn’t wearing underwear. Furthermore, she dished about one of her favorite pastimes on the British talent show with Cowell and recalls a rather memorable moment in Simon’s dressing room.

“I do drawings of stuff that get me into trouble a lot. I show it off to Cheryl and she laughs and I show it to Louis and he goes, ‘Wow, yeah.’ I will have to ban myself from having paper now as you now all b***dy know.”

“I was sitting there with a cup of tea and he walked out of his bathroom with his towel on and he said, “Oh, hello darling, I have just come out of the bath. I said, ‘Can we talk about the show please?’ He just sat there in his towel.”

What do you think about Mel B’s big reveal? Arguably, based on the trend towards coming out in Hollywood, she won’t be the last to clear the air about who she cares to share her bed with.
