‘Batman V Superman’ Filming: The Loop In Chicago Takes Center Stage [Photos]
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Batman v Superman filming in the famous Loop in Chicago. The Zack Snyder production is in its first week in Illinois, and all eyes this weekend are on the action taking place in the Windy City.
Numerous street closings have been announced already, so residents can prepare for the disruptions that will take place over the next few days. Police cars were seen blocking roads around the areas where filming for Batman v Superman will happen.

So what’s going on in the production? Well, nobody really knows, but we can deduct something from what has been seen thus far. A lot of Homeland Security vehicles were spotted by fans and reporters. Check it out.

A big crane was also seen getting ready for an aerial scene on Thursday. This could indicate that Superman (Henry Cavill) will be involved in some fashion. Chicago was the base used for Metropolis in the Batman v Superman prequel, Man of Steel, and the home of the Daily Planet.
