Kim Kardashian Hires Lawyer To Help End “Wedding Sham” Claim

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has hired legal powerhouse Marty Singer to quiet rumors that her wedding to Kris Humphries was a sham meant to bring her further wealth.

Kardashian hired Singer after an author by the name of Jonathan Jaxson decided to released a book in which he claims Kardashian never wanted to marry Kris and that the wedding was entirely staged for publicity purposes.

Jaxson worked as a PR rep for Kardashian for a short period of time however a source close to Kim says that his work happened several years ago on a blog and that Kim barely ever spoke to him.

In the meantime it’s believed that Jaxson signed a confidentiality agreement with Kim and that by releasing his book he’s in direct violation of that agreement.

Marty Singer has filed papers with a private arbitrator in an attempt to silence Jaxson. In the filing Kardashian claims that her reputation is being hurt by Jaxson’s defamatory statements and she is asking for a minimum of $200,000 in damages.

Speaking to TMZ Singer revealed:

“Everything that he is saying is false and nonsense … This guy is in it to promote himself for his 15 mins of fame.”

Jonathan Jaxson responded to TMZ by noting:

“I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian. I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either parties signature on it.”

Would it surprise you to learn that Kardashian’s wedding which lasted less than 80 days was a complete setup?
