‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Releases New Trailer With Shirtless Jamie Dornan [Video]

Fifty Shades of Grey knows exactly how to tease their fans. Off the heels of the disappointing anti-full-frontal notice, the studio is releasing a surprise clip of the upcoming second trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey. For those who aren’t aware, the film comes out on Valentine’s Day 2015 but started promotions even before the film entered production.

To further drag out the process, but to give the fans bread crumbs along the way, the studio decided to release a small clip which features a shirtless Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey.

The clip continues to feature music by Beyoncé but instead of the singer’s song “Crazy In Love,” which was used heavily during promotion, they decided to go with new material by selecting “Haunted” which works for the elusive tone that’s set in the tiny glimpse.

This is a bit of a gift for fans that were a bit disappointed to find out that even though the novel Fifty Shades of Grey is erotic, the film will not feature full frontal nudity from Jamie Dornan, which answers rumors that this might be a very soft R rated film, rather than the hard R fans were hoping for.

The British actor broke the news to the U.K. Observer. “There were contracts in place that said viewers wouldn’t be seeing my, um …” and then used the word “todger.” The actor claimed that by going full frontal, the audience might be alienated and turned off by it but seeing as readers of the book make up women of all ages who couldn’t get enough of the sexual content, we find it hard to believe anyone would turn away from such a sight.

Dornan continues, “You want to appeal to as wide an audience as possible without grossing them out. You don’t want to make something gratuitous, and ugly, and graphic.”

Instead the film will rely on the audience’s imagination.

At least fans of the series will have a chance to see the rest of the second trailer during ABC’s Scandal in one week’s time.

In addition to Jamie Dornan, the movie also stars Dakota Johnson and Rita Ora.
