‘Top Chef’ Contestant Aaron Grissom Arrested For Domestic Violence

Top Chef contestant Aaron Grissom has been arrested for domestic violence.

TMZ reports that Aaron Grissom and his girlfriend got into a heated argument on Tuesday afternoon at his home in San Fernando Valley. The reports claims that Grissom pushed his girlfriend hard enough to injure her knee.

The jail in Van Nuys reportedly confirmed that Aaron Grissom was booked officially for “infliction of corporal injury on a spouse,” according to TMZ.

After he posted $50,000 bail and being booked on Wednesday, Aaron Grissom was released from custody.

Many fans of the popular show, Top Chef, believe that Aaron Grissom is one of the most unpopular contestants, especially since he seems to get into heated arguments with different people frequently.

Dave Nemetz of Yahoo! TV did not bite his tongue when describing Aaron Grissom in a recent article that noted the chef as being the master of the recipe for the “perfect douche soufflé.”

“‘Top Chef’ has had plenty of unlikable cheftestants over the years… But rarely have we seen such pure, unfiltered villainy as we’ve seen this season in Aaron, the wildly overconfident, tatted-up L.A. chef who looks like a frat-boy Adam Pally doing a bad De Niro impression. When Aaron’s not insulting his fellow competitors, he’s whining about his hard-luck life.”

Aaron Grissom currently works at the North Hollywood restaurant, Bow & Truss as the Chef. Even though he currently lives in Los Angeles, Grissom was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington.

According to his biography published by Bravo TV, Aaron Grissom believes that cooking is something that everyone can share and has a strong passion for new American and Asian cuisines.
