Kimberly Pankratius: Nebraska Walmart Shopper Hits Woman Who Took Her Parking Spot

Kimberly Pankratius was at a Nebraska Walmart waiting for a parking spot when another shopper drove up and “stole” the spot that she’d been eyeing. According to the New York Daily News, the 36-year-old woman admitted to hitting another shopper with her car. At first, Pankratius was happy with pulling up next to the couple who had exited their car after parking and calling them “d*****bags,” but as she was driving away, she felt dissatisfied, and wanted to taunt the couple more.

“She didn’t make it too far before deciding to turn around to terrorize the couple, who were about to enter the megastore. Tires screeching and nostrils flaring, Pankratius admitted to speeding toward the man and woman in an effort to scare them,” reports the New York Daily Times.

Then, Kimberly Pankratius caused a scene at the Nebraska Walmart. While she may have not intended to run the couple over, she “came within inches” of hitting 40-year-old Julie Weakly. Pankratius drove her PT Cruiser so close to Weakly that her side mirror struck her. Weakly was not seriously injured and refused to seek medical treatment. Her husband is thankful that he and his wife weren’t run over.

Clearly letting her emotions get the best of her, Pankratius admitted to the crime, and said that she later “felt really bad” about what had happened. She has been very apologetic, and she’s been cooperating with police. However, what she did got her in deep trouble, and she is now facing two felony charges.

“Pankratius was charged with two felonies, assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. She was booked into the Lancaster County jail, where she remains locked up in lieu of $2500 bond,” reports the Smoking Gun.

Road rage is very serious and often ends with someone getting hurt. In a recent report by the Inquisitr, a man in California was arrested just last week for a road rage incident that left a mother of four dead. Carl Stephen Dubose of Oakland, 20, shot Perla Avina, 30, killing her. Police believe that Dubose was upset over something that happened while driving.

Police take road rage incidents seriously and many believe that Pankratius should face a punishment following her actions, whether she is sorry or not.
