Casey Anthony Living Off ‘Kindness Of Others,’ Surrounded By Enablers
Reports of Casey Anthony receiving death threats, nearly three years after being found not guilty of killing Caylee Anthony, were also accompanied by reports that positive fan mail outnumbers those death threats 8 to 1. Her current attorney, Cheney Mason, revealed that he and his wife also receive death threats for their support of Anthony. Other than hate and fan mail, it seems that Casey also receives monetary support from unnamed benefactors. As a result, much of her post Caylee life has been supported by others, which allow her to live off the “kindness of others.”
According to the CNN, Casey Anthony has had little to no contact with her parents, let alone support of any kind. Due to the stigma surrounding her accusations, despite being found not guilty by a jury of her peers, it is difficult for Casey to live a normal public life or maintain a normal career. Therefore, most of her time is spent secluded indoors, under the roof of unnamed roommates. There have been times that she has been seen out in public, shopping at a local grocery store or eating dinner at a restaurant. However, the party lifestyle that she once lead is more of a memory at this point in her life.
Although Casey is living the life of a hermit, in a sense, she is not necessarily without a means of making money. It seems as though her current lifestyle is being supported by a small group of anonymous benefactors. Although it is not known who they are, what their intentions might be, or why they are readily supplying her with monetary gifts, Casey Anthony is living a decent life without working. A source close to Casey Anthony recently told People Magazine that Casey pays for almost nothing on her own.
“She has a few benefactors that are enamored with her and send her things. They pay for everything.”
Casey Anthony’s current lifestyle is similar to Rapunzel’s, except she is the fairy tale princess and evil witch combined into one. She is trapped in the tower, left to her own devices, yet allows herself to venture out into the world at times. According to an Anthony family friend, Casey is not necessarily alone in the tower she has forced herself into, instead she is surrounded by enablers.
“She is surrounded by enablers. No one makes her pull her own weight. No one makes her accountable. That’s what got her into this mess in the first place. I, for one, don’t feel the least bit sorry for her.”
