Lisa Vanderpump On Being Slapped On ‘RHOBH:’ “It Was A Bit Of A Shock”

Lisa Vanderpump was on the receiving end of a slap during the recently released season five trailer of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Following a heated dinner debate, the restauranteur is seen standing in front of what appears to be her former friend, Brandi Glanville, who proceeds to slap her on the cheek.

“I’ve never been hit in the face. It was a bit of a shock,” Vanderpump told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover during an interview with Access Hollywood on November 3.

Although the woman slapping Vanderpump is seen from behind as reported by the Inquisitr, with her face facing the opposite way, it appeared to be Glanville. Not only was the woman tall as Glanville is, she had long, dirty-blonde hair; a shade only found on Glanville.

When Bush and Hoover speculate that it was Glanville, Lisa Vanderpump seemed to confirm the news. “I wasn’t going to say it was her. I thought actually you wouldn’t know who hit me, but now seeing it, yeah, it is a bit clearer,” she said. “That was right at the end of filming and it think it definitely changed the dynamic for me. For the most part, things started to get back on track. It’s not good.”

As for the new housewives, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, Vanderpump is a fan. “[Lisa and Eileen] are fantastic,” Vanderpump gushed. “[This is] one of our best seasons yet! It’s got the bling, it’s got the gorgeousness, but it’s also got real emotional storylines… real deep issues.”

During an interview with Us Weekly last month, Kyle Richards and Yolanda Foster were just as excited about the upcoming fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“It’s going to be the most intense season we’ve ever had,” Richards told the magazine on Tuesday, Oct. 21. “In every aspect honestly. I mean, from the relationships, to disagreements, problems, you name it. It’s the most intense season we’ve ever had.”

“I think it’s going to be our best season yet,” added Foster. “It’s a very complicated season. I think a lot of things from last year… people are making up, new friendships, new people are coming into the group. I think it’s going to be a great season.”

Foster also spoke of her admiration for the new ladies. “They’re awesome,” she said. “We’re so blessed. I love both of them and I’m really excited to have two very intelligent, strong women that you know really make a difference in our group.”

In other Vanderpump news, the Inquisitr recently revealed she had turned down a chance to appear on Celebrity Big Brother UK.
