Selena Gomez & Her New Music Are Ready: ‘I think It’s Time To Start Sharing’

Selena Gomez is ready.

“As I have a last listen, I thought a lot about my year. I thought a lot about my voice.”

“And after a year of holding on. I think it’s time to start sharing. #November,” the 22-year-old actress-singer captioned an Instagram selfie from a recording studio posted Monday.

Gomez is referring to For You, her anticipated “Greatest Hits” album, slated for November 24.

And it’s clear the Latina’s fans are peaking for the release, as seen by their lightning pick-up of the accidental leaking of the album track list via Amazon France last week.

Selenators can expect a nostalgic romp through the Disney alum’s back catalog, from her Selena & The Scene days circa 2009 to her former Billboard No. 1 Stars Dance album of last year and the hits “Come & Get It” and “Slow Down.”

According to the listing, two or three new songs feature.

The Rock Mafia songwriting/production team collaborated on two fresh cuts: the alleged lead single “Heart Wants What It Wants” and “Do It.”

A Spanish version of the song “More” (“Mas”) will also appear on For You, which serves as the last album Gomez is contracted to put out with Disney’s Hollywood records.

Selena is now signed to Interscope and managed by Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

She is also developing movies, and a TV series with her former manager mom and Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti at Trigger Street Productions.

But, just as important as all this activity, is the undeniable sense that Selena’s supernova moment has arrived.

Back in December, the “Come & Get It” songstress pulled out of the Australian and Asian legs of her Stars Dance tour. At the time, she cited a need to take time for herself. Then, a month later, she secretly checked into rehab in Arizona, although a rep stressed it wasn’t for substance issues in a February statement. A Lupus condition was confirmed earlier this year.

Selena’s on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber is believed to have played a part in her decision to come off tour, but it’s clear the starlet also reorganized her career structure for much of 2014.

Justin and Selena’s relationship hit the rocks during their latest, brief reunion, somewhere between their Caribbean vacation on St. Martin island and a following Paris Fashion Week trip.

When Selena flew home alone from Paris the day after Justin took supermodel pal Kendall Jenner to lunch, it was assumed their meet infuriated the Rudderless actress, because of a reported falling out with Kendall back in April at the Coachella Festival amid flirting talk.

However, recent video footage of Selena and others singing “Happy Birthday” to Kendall at her ongoing 19th celebrations, indicates the two girls have made up and that Jenner is likely not the reason for Jelena’s split.

Meanwhile, although a romantic future for Justin and Selena remains unclear, career-wise the pop princess is white-hot.

Selena hit the No. 1 slot on Billboard’s Social 50 chart last week. That is likely to continue as promotion builds towards her album release. Her manager, Aleen Keshishian, recently responded on Instagram to fans’ questions, and revealed movie news will be announced soon and the starlet will tour next year.

At last month’s We Day Vancouver youth empowerment event which she hosted, Selena told 20,000 rapt teens in her closing speech, “I am ready for what comes next in my life.”

So, until La Gomez’s music arrives, a fantastic, official, dubstep remix of “Stars Dance” by Dubkiller featuring Mark Victor as Ca$hizz Klay is linked below.

A deconstructed remix showcasing Joao Pedro Mourao on acoustic guitar is also on tap.
