‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Show ‘Anarchy Afterword’ Returns For Final 5 Episodes Of Series

Sons of Anarchy fans had better prep themselves for a wild episode this week and it seems the evening will go on a bit longer than is typical. Many SOA fans had noticed a longer-than-usual time noted in listings for the Season 7, Episode 9 show airing on November 4, and now they know why. Anarchy Afterword returns with a new show this week as well.

Some fans had suspected that this might be the case, that the post-show series might be coming back this week, and now TV By the Numbers confirms it. Will this Anarchy Afterword feature the character that is said to get killed in either episode 9 or 10? Will viewers be tuning in to say a final farewell to a beloved core SAMCRO character? They may be, but that’s not how this show is being touted at this point.

Rather, it seems that this Sons of Anarchy post-show special will have a “Villains Panel” that brings in some of the show’s biggest enemies from throughout the series. Comedian Chris Franjola hosts the show once again. It seems that viewers tuning in can expect to see Ally Walker, who played Agent June Stahl, Billy Brown, who currently plays August Marks, as well as Timothy Murphy who played Galen O’Shay.

This season, Anarchy Afterword is airing on FX after the applicable Sons of Anarchy episodes rather than solely online as was done in season 6. Though these post-show special for season 7 had been limited in frequency until now, fans will be thrilled to know that all of the rest of the episodes will have them. That means five weeks of explosive episodes and post-show analysis specials. It’s always a good idea to double-check the DVRs on Tuesday nights when SOA is airing, but these Anarchy Afterword additions may well mean a bonus DVR check for conflicts is needed.

Filming for the final show has wrapped, as Kurt Sutter noted via his Twitter page. Fans can only imagine how the final episodes play out, and knowing that FX is doing Anarchy Afterword shows for each of them very likely means that it’s going to be a very wild ride.

Who lives, who dies and who shocks the viewers with their decisions along the way? It seems clear that fans won’t want to miss a minute. Now, those final minutes include five episodes of Anarchy Afterword on FX just after every last episode of Sons of Anarchy each Tuesday night through the December 9 finale.
