Facebook Waterfight Trashes Garden

350 participants of a public waterfight organized over Facebook have trashed an award winning garden in England.

The site of the waterfight, Millennium Square garden in Leeds was built in honor of Nelson Mandela and awarded a medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2004. The City Council said that the fight “destroyed the garden” causing thousands of pounds in damage.

This being the age of YouTube, naturally participants uploaded footage (above). The Leeds Biggest Waterfight Facebook group as over 9000 members and another group England’s Biggest Waterfight is promising UK wide waterfights for July 5.
