‘Fast And Furious 7’: Vin Diesel Remembers Paul Walker, Shares Trailer

Fast and Furious 7 will hit the big screen in April 2015, and fans have now been given their first true look at the film. The first official trailer has been released, and the release of the film trailer gave the cast another chance to talk about the loss of Paul Walker. Vin Diesel shared both the trailer and a new photo of himself and Paul Walker on his Facebook page on Saturday. In the photo, Vin and Paul are sharing a moment during the filming of the Fast and Furious franchise.

The death of Paul Walker hit fans of the franchise hard, but the cast also dealt with the loss. Many of the members of the new cast started with the franchise 14 years ago. In the film trailer, Diesel’s character calls the group his family, and the cast became a family off-screen. That is made clear once again with the photo Diesel shared on his Facebook on Saturday.

Vin did not say anything with the photo share, but he has spoken out recently about Paul Walker and the friendship they shared. E! Online shared the comments Vin Diesel made at an event held to premiere the trailer for Fast and Furious 7.

“When you watch our movie, all the differences of skin tone and language go out the window. All you see is family and that started with the brotherhood of Dom and Brian and it has extended to Fast and Furious 7, where, when you think of family, you think of Fast and Furious. And it’s touching because, you know, again, we lost such a special person, a special angel. That was the beginning of that and allowed for us to have this multicultural brotherhood and family.”

Vin Diesel is not the only cast member to speak out about their feelings in connection to Paul Walker’s death recently. The Inquisitr shared Jordana Brewster’s comments, and she called his death the most “intense thing” she has been though.

Will this franchise continue? Before Walker’s death last year, Universal had plans to continue the franchise through at least Fast and Furious 10. It is not clear if that will still happen. Walker’s character, Brian O’Connor, will exit the franchise with this film, but his character was not killed off. His brothers came in to help the crew finish out the production of the film following his death.

Universal has not spoken out about continuing the franchise since Paul Walker’s death. Their focus has been on the release of this film. What do you think of the Fast and Furious 7 trailer? Do you plan to see this film once it hits theaters?
