With Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian set to reunite in Minnesota for talks about their failed 72-day marriage, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has revealed her 31-year-old daughter “just really needed to talk to him!”
Speaking to Extra, Jenner said:
“Kim is a hopeless romantic. So she wants the fairy tale. She wanted to get married and have babies and raise a family and the white picket fence and all that comes with that. She’s a really good person with a huge heart. Whatever decisions Kim is making right now, she’s a very smart girl and she’s gonna do the right thing. All I can do is wrap my arms around her and make sure she’s okay.”
The fact her daughter filed for divorce after such a short marriage surprised Jenner, who described it as “not the ideal situation. It’s not how I expected things to happen, for sure.”
Yet the 56-year-old mom of six also believes it is important for her to remain calm amongst the mess of the split:
“[My children] need me to be strong for them, so that they can show their emotions,” she said. “[Kim] She needs to do what she’s doing, and cry and figure it out.”
This is not the first time Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian have met since the divorce was filed. Jenner confirmed that the couple had met with their wedding pastor for talks over the weekend. A source told US Weekly that Kardashian has “wanted to see [Kris] face to face to put some finality on it. To give them both some closure.”

Hey Kris Jenner instead of wrapping your arms around her teach her about life. Love and Marriage is work no matter who you are. The fact that she needs to talk to him to set things straight after she files for divorce says it all. Poor guy. He did not realize what he was getting into or if he did he was too whipped to stop it.

I love the Kardashians. Kris H is a jerk. He used them because of the lockout. If you people want to talk know what you're talking about plus he's a cheater.
