World's Largest Windows 7 Smartphone

Microsoft on Monday unveiled their newest Smartphone a device users will never get the chance to use because it’s slightly too big to carry in a pocket.

Unlike the Samsung Focus S, HTC Radar 4G and other soon to arrive Windows Phone 7.5 Smartphones their newest phone unveiled in New York City’s Times Square is six-stories tall and is just a few feet fee away from the world’s largest Macy’s store.

While the phone is billed as the world’s largest it’s not a phone in the tradition sense in that the giant tiles display video feeds that are transmitted from a centralized control room. The tiles can also be moved to accommodate live stage performances.

For potential customers Microsoft is also featuring a makeshift showroom with functioning Windows Phone 7.5 devices for testing purposes. [Image via Engadget]
