Janel Parrish Val: ‘DWTS’ Dating Rumors Persist, Janel Still Denies Romance

Janel Parrish talked Val Chmerkovskiy dating rumors again, but she still says that she is not romantically involved with her Dancing With The Stars partner. According to UPI, the 26-year-old was pretty straight forward with her statement and insisted that there’s no love that transcends friendship between she and her pro. However, Janel does appreciate that fans see that she and Val have chemistry.

“As far as the rumors of romance between Val and me, I just want people to focus on the dancing that we do and the hard work we do. I appreciate that people see that we have chemistry,” Janel wrote on her People blog.

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy have been dodging dating rumors all season — not unlike Val’s brother Maks and his partner last season, Meryl Davis. Rumors that Janel and Val were hooking up only intensified after Janel and her boyfriend broke up. This, of course, is something that Maks and Meryl didn’t have to deal with.

According to the Inquisitr, Janel and her beau Payson Lewis a couple of weeks ago, which totally shocked fans. However, many jumped to the conclusion that Val was the reason for the couple’s split. So far, there’s no real evidence behind that theory.

Janel Parrish and Val get along really well, there’s no denying that. They have their moments, but the Pretty Little Liars actress says that the two communicate really well. Being on DWTS forces people to be linked to their partners for weeks (if you’re lucky), so being able to work out your differences and frustrations is important. It sounds like these two have that part of their relationship down.

“Sometimes we don’t agree, but the thing that I love about Val and I is that we have really good communication. So when things like that happen, we’re able to talk through it and find a solution. We were really able to kind of cool off and talk about the things that bothered us in a calm way and compromise.”

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy are certainly going to heat up the ballroom next week. According to Just Jared Jr., the two will be dancing contemporary, which tends to be extremely sensual. If you thought that dating rumors were running wild now, just wait until after Monday night’s episode of Dancing With The Stars!
