Selena Gomez Source Slams Smear: NOT ‘Scared’ Of ‘Violent’ Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber just made the imaginary leap from juvenile house-egger to “sociopath.” One whom Selena Gomez is supposedly “scared of,” and is now worried she can’t “escape her violent first love.”

That is, if you believe this week’s breathless, gossip claim from Life & Style Weekly.

Despite being shamed online by E! News in September, when E! categorically refuted the tabloid’s claim that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez had a secret commitment ceremony, the magazine is now taking advantage of the couple’s recent split to shill another fantastic tale.

The magazine alleges Bieber has “bombarded” his on-off girlfriend with texts and phone calls. So much so, that Gomez has supposedly “become genuinely afraid of her ex, who has an infamous history of violent and erratic behavior.”

Before listing more of the rag’s sensationalist claims, a Gomez source has already blasted them as completely false.

Gossip Cop reports the insider told them, “Selena is in no way afraid of Justin, and he has not been sending her threatening texts.”

Given that the couple have split up, it’s significant that the actress-singer’s camp have still been quick to slam this latest, wild claim.

With Gossip Cop’s source strong denial in place, it’s back to Life & Style. It’s alleged Justin “has no intention of letting Selena go,” and is “blowing up” her “phone with countless texts and calls.”

An alleged mole supposedly then confided to Life & Style, “It’s made her worried to leave the house,” adding, “She thinks he’s acting like a sociopath.”

The unethical tabloid alleges Gomez is now “petrified” the Biebs will turn up at her home or places of work, as he allegedly refuses to stay away “no matter how much she asks him.”

Clearly, Life & Style is blissfully unaware Bieber is currently staying in New Jersey with pal pastor Carl Lentz of the Hillsong NYC church on a kind of “religious retreat.”

Meanwhile, Gomez was seen at a sushi lunch with friends in Studio City on Wednesday, looking remarkably calm for someone on a “sociopath’s” ‘To-Do’ list, Mail Online reports.

The magazine even went as far as claiming Gomez is supposedly thinking about getting a court order of protection against Bieber if his alleged harassment continues.

“Selena thinks he’s acting like a stalker,” an invented source claims. “She just wants him to go away.”

The Inquisitr isn’t surprised fraudulent claims are being made by Life & Style.

Their latest — that Kate Middleton is being “tormented” by Queen Elizabeth II, over missed engagements due to her previous morning sickness — a case in point.

It’s no secret that the Bieber-Gomez news cycle has increasingly become a toxic dumping ground for bogus stories. Just weeks ago, OK! magazine claimed Selena was “destroying herself” to be with Bieber, and had even kicked her family to the curb.

That claim was shown to be entirely without merit when Selena was accompanied by her mother to the Rudderless premiere in Los Angeles on October 7. Since then, the starlet posted an Instagram snap with her mother to announce their team-up with Trigger Street Productions.

In closing: considering Justin is 20 and Selena is 22, these relentless click bait allegations citing invented sources aren’t just a waste of everyone’s time, they could more accurately be described as the commercially motivated abuse of two young people.
