Leah Calvert “Slams” Divorce Rumors
Leah Calvert and her husband Jeremy appear to be back together — but will it last? According to a new report, Leah recently slammed divorce rumors online, and Jeremy still has not filed for divorce.
As the Inquisitr reported earlier this week, the Teen Mom 2 star took to Twitter on Monday, telling fans she was happy to be reunited with her family. “It’s such a beautiful day, & I’m so blessed to be able to spend it with my family! I [love] you @Calvert505!!!” she told fans.
Following the tweet, Hollywood Life reported Leah Calvert and Jeremy have still not filed for divorce. “The good news is that despite other reports, HollywoodLife.com can confirm that neither Leah nor Jeremy have filed any divorce papers. So far,” the site claimed on October 27.
On October 24, Starcasm reported the same, telling readers, “Although that makes it seem like there’s a chance the Calverts will reconcile, Jeremy indicated yesterday that he has moved out of their new home and still believes Leah had an affair with Robbie: He posted a picture on Twitter of his dirt bike packed up in the back of his truck and taunted that Robbie ‘can’t buy a big Mac.'”
Over the weekend, just two days prior to Leah’s loving tweet, Jeremy was seen on Twitter, talking to a friend about a possible trip to Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve. “Jeremy Calvert is moving on from his marriage to Teen Mom 2 star Leah Calvert,” the Inquisitr reported on October 25. “Although the reality star has yet to file for divorce, Jeremy is enjoying his newfound freedom by riding dirt bikes with friends and planning for a New Year’s Eve vacation.”
On Saturday night, Jeremy re-tweeted a message from a friend named Mike, which read, “How have you been bro? Vegas for New Years?” In response, Jeremy tweeted back to Mike, saying, “That’s right new years it is.”
Although both Leah Calvert’s ex-husband, Corey Simms, and his wife, Miranda, have remained silent in regard to Leah and Jeremy’s reported marital troubles, Corey’s dad, Jeff, tweeted to fans late last week, saying, “Unspoken prayer request tonight, Twitterites! Thank you.”
Leah Calvert and Jeremy recently wrapped filming on the fifth season of Teen Mom 2. At this point, no sixth season has been confirmed by the network, but there have been several reports claiming the show will return to MTV at some point next year. As for whether Leah and Jeremy will be on board, that has yet to be confirmed.
