PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection Details For November 2014

Every month, Sony offers up 6 games for its PlayStation Plus subscribers as part of the Instant Game Collection. EGM has confirmed the list of the latest games from Sony for PS Plus subscribers today. The collection spans the 2 consoles and handheld currently on offer from Sony. While the previous months have been well represented with various AAA games such as the Inquisitr‘s reported Batman: Arkham Asylum, the month of November is populated by primarily indie titles.

The PlayStation 4 games for the Instant Game Collection include Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and SteamWorld Dig. Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is an indie game created by Edmund McMillen and originally released on Steam in 2011. The game is an action adventure game with inspiration from the Biblical account of Abraham, who was commanded to sacrifice his son, Isaac, to test his faith. Even though in the Biblical account Isaac was not sacrificed, the modern retelling of the story has Isaac as an unclothed child whose mother has been commanded by God to sacrifice him. He retreats into the horror-ridden basement of the house to survive.

SteamWorld Dig is a mining platform action-adventure game created by a Swedish indie developer Image & Form in which the player controls Rusty in a town called Tumbleton. The game has the player digging and solving puzzles while performing basic platforming to avoid traps and enemies.

The PlayStation 3 Instant Game Collection is giving PlayStation Plus subscribers arcade airplane shooter Luftrausers as the first of the two offerings for the Instant Game Collection. The game features a full 360 degrees of motion based on the direction of the airplane. The second game is indie hit Frozen Synapse Prime which features a turn-based combat mechanic in a dystopian cyberpunk future.

PS Vita owners who subscribe to PlayStation Plus are receiving The Hungry Horde and Escape Plan. Originally a launch title for the PS Vita, Escape Plan is a side scrolling puzzle solver that relies on the front and rear touch pads of the PS Vita to solve puzzles by manipulating the environment to allow your character to pass through unharmed. The Hungry Horde is the second title for PS Vita. In the game, the player controls a mass of zombies with the goal of increasing the size of the herd while combating the increased response from the government, who will attempt to corral and nuke the zombie population.

Cross Buy will allow gamers to obtain copies of many of the games including Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, SteamWorld Dig, Luftrausers and Escape Plan.
