‘True Tori’ Spoilers: Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott Face Vasectomy Decision, Belongings Purge
True Tori starring Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott is back with season 2, and the family still seems to be in a very difficult and rough place. During the premiere, Tori and Dean briefly thought she might be pregnant, but it turned out she wasn’t. Now the duo are looking at having McDermott get a vasectomy, but they both seem to be struggling with the decision.
A True Tori spoiler sneak peek from GossipCop shows Tori and Dean talking with their therapist. Spelling explains that before McDermott’s cheating incident, he wanted the vasectomy while she was hesitant. She adds that now, the roles seem to be reversed. Tori adds that after the cheating, she knows that she doesn’t want any more babies with him. Dean is visibly upset by Tori’s words, but she adds that “there’s consequences to actions.”
Despite some reservations, another True Tori spoiler sneak peek shared via Facebook indicates that the couple moves forward on scheduling the procedure. However, the morning of the appointment, McDermott reveals that he’s not sure he’s ready to go through with it. He notes that in great part, he’s not sure he wants to be doing it on camera, and he doesn’t want to turn into another Spencer Pratt, a la reality TV stars Spencer and Heidi Montag.
The exchange is painful for Tori and Dean, obviously, and will surely be painful for True Tori viewers to watch as well. The exchange gets tense and emotional, with Dean saying that there is an urgency to the decision because he knows his wife is in no shape to carry another child at this point.
Tori cries and says that she’s loved being pregnant and never loved Dean more than the moments where she saw him holding each of their children for the first time. Both reality TV stars are clearly confused and conflicted over this decision, and eventually McDermott tells the cameras to stop filming and the crew to leave.
TV Guide notes that this episode is called “Back to the Future.” In addition to the vasectomy decision, Spelling will open up about her issues with holding onto belongings. She has a massive build-up of items held not only in the family’s house, but at a warehouse as well. She talks with the counselor about it and decides it’s time to purge. The True Tori spoiler synopsis teases that she will make a discovery that leads her to reach out to her ex-husband, Charlie Shanian.
The conflict remains obvious between Tori and Dean in these episodes, and Spelling’s recent hospitalization would seemingly indicate that the tension continues to take a toll. Can Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s marriage survive? Just how far will the duo go in exposing their difficulties on True Tori?
