Rihanna Launches Rogue Fragrance For Men

Rihanna has every intention of riding the wave of success she has experienced with her fragrance line. She captured women with her first four fragrances, and now she is targeting men with a new fragrance called Rogue Man.

The Daily Mail reported that Rihanna gave a personal appearance at the official Macy’s release of her newest fragrance, and participated in a meet-and-greet with fans at Lennox Square in Atlanta. The first 500 customers who purchased the fragrance from the store had the opportunity to meet and receive a photo with her.

Rogue Man, which is available in eau de toilette, shower gel, and after-shave balm, is the male follow-up to Rihanna’s 2013 scent, Rogue. Three earlier fragrances called Reb’l Fleur, Rebelle, and Nude complete Rihanna’s full line of scents.

Developed by perfumer Frank Voelkl for Rihanna, Rogue Man is officially described as having a base of sandalwood, patchouli, amber, musk, and tonka bean.

According to MTV News, Rihanna took to Twitter over the past few weeks to share the ad campaign for the fragrance with fans.

“I’m so happy to present this to you handsome men,” she tweeted.

The advertising campaign for Rogue Man was shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti, and shows Rihanna and tattooed model Daniel Ness. In black and white shots, the singer is seen with her face pressed sensually into Ness’ neck as she wraps her arms around him from behind.

Rihanna is not just the latest celebrity to jump on the fragrance bandwagon, she has added an innovative approach in that she is a woman targeting men.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, she said, “I’m all about the ladies so this is one time I get to do something special for my men, but the ladies still get to enjoy it.”

For Rihanna, the fragrance will also act as something of an aphrodisiac for couples.

“It draws people in and also creates memories and makes things stick and certain emotions are evoked through it at certain moments and you remember it,” she said.

Rihanna’s wardrobe was also a hot topic at the launch. In true Rihanna fashion, the 26-year-old singer was looking her best in a stunning and revealing black ensemble.

According to The Inquisitr, she can’t help but look her best given that she spends $50,000 a week on looking good.
