“21 Jump Street” is back. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are teaming up to star in the new movie which is based off of the 1980s TV series starring Johnny Depp.

The NY Daily News reports that Tatum and Hill will play cops who go undercover as high school students to expose a drug ring in the new movie.

Hill and Tatum are definitely taking the remake in a more vulgar and humorous direction. But even though it doesn’t resemble the original, Johnny Depp has agreed to make a cameo in the new movie.

Depp said:

“I went and did my bit as I was hoping to, and it worked out really well. It was really fun. I got to spend some time with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum and the wonderful directors [Phil Lord and Chris Miller]. It was a great experience.”

Here are a few clips from the original series.

The new “21 Jump Street” will hit theaters on March 16. The movie features Ice Cube, Ellie Kemper, Brie Larson, Dave Franco, and yes, that was Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman).

Are you excited for the new “21 Jump Street?” By the looks of the trailer, the new movie will probably bring in more Jonah Hill fans than “21 Jump Street” fans.
