NCAA Player’s Brother Takes Call Dispute to Center Court

Passionate sports fans know how frustrating referee decisions can be when they don’t go your teams way, but rarely do any take it up with the referee.

Jonathan Xavier however did.

Jonathan is the brother of Providence player Jeff Xavier, who was badly injured during a NCAA game with Marquette this weekend. The footage shows Jeff’s face hitting the arm of another player, but no intentional foul, and that’s how the Referee called it. While Jeff was being attended to, Jonathan, angry that no foul was called, stormed onto the court to take the issue up with the referee, all naturally on live television.

The commentators don’t know who Jonathan Xavier is when it happens, but they raise some fairly reasonable points about security.
