Mama June Can Deny But New Pics Don’t Lie: June Shannon House Hunted With Child Molester Boyfriend

The truth in the latest Honey Boo Boo scandal — that Mama June is dating a convicted child molester who abused one of her own daughters — is becoming more and more apparent, despite Mama June’s continued denials.

TMZ originally broke the story by posting pictures of June Shannon cozied up with McDaniel in a hotel bed, and has now recently released even more incriminating evidence that Mama June is dating McDaniel.

Pictures of Shannon holding hands with McDaniel while she house hunted in Georgia have been found and posted online. And although daughter Pumpkin has repeatedly claimed that Mama June was not in contact with McDaniel, there is a photograph of her with McDaniel’s son on the house hunting expedition.

Mark McDaniel was released from prison in March, after serving 10 years for forcing an 8-year-old girl to perform oral sex. It was later discovered that, although McDaniel had been arrested and imprisoned for abusing one child, he had also abused at least another — and that other child was none other than Anna, better known as Chickadee, Mama June’s oldest daughter, now married and with a child of her own.

District attorney Tommy K. Floyd wrote in the Henry Country, Georgia, court papers that McDaniel “did then and there unlawfully perform an immoral and indecent act which did involve an act of sodomy to Anna Shannon with intent to arouse and satisfy the sexual desires of said accused and said act involving the mouth of said Anna Shannon and the sex organ of the accused.” The court papers further reveal that McDaniel sexually abused Anna multiple times between October of 2002 and March of 2003.

The case was eventually dropped, however, and he was convicted on another count in a nearby county.

When the story of an alleged relationship between Mama June and the man who once sexually abused her own daughter first broke, Anna stuck by her mother, and believed Mama June’s denials that she was, under no circumstances, dating McDaniel. And who could blame her? It seems unthinkable.

But the mounting evidence contrary to that claim has convinced even Anna that her mother is, in fact, seeing McDaniel.

In an interview with Radar Online, Anna says, “I believe she is seeing him and hanging around him.”

She adds, “I’m hurt.”

And all the closeness that has always existed between Mama June and Anna may not be enough to overcome this betrayal, as it looks like TLC may not be the only ones cutting ties with Mama June over this.

“I think me and Mama’s relationship may well be over,” Anna said.
