‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Loses Final Attempt To Get Out Of Jail

Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey was sentenced to 15 months behind bars earlier this month after pleading guilty to various fraud charges. It is no secret that Giudice had no idea what she was doing when she was signing the documents that her husband was putting in front of her. Judge Esther Salas has been very vocal about Teresa’s wrongdoings in this case, and Teresa is an example of how celebrities cannot get away with crimes just because they are famous.

Teresa Giudice has tried everything in her power to get her 15-month sentence reduced to house arrest or even living at a half-way house so she can be close to her daughters. But the judge has not shown an understanding of her situation or her desires. Instead, the judge ruled this week that Teresa will have no other choice than to serve time in jail to pay for her crimes.

According to a new Reality Tea report, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice will serve time because the judge sees it as something very simple; you did the crime, now you do the time. Of course, it is possible that Teresa would have had the possibility of doing house-arrest if she would have been honest in declaring all of the couple’s assets. But the couple’s disorganization led the judge to rule against them.

Teresa Giudice has a new attorney, Stacy Ann Biancamano, who would have pushed for the half-way house if Giudice had known that it had been an option during sentencing. Instead, her lawyer explained that Teresa didn’t realize what her options were, hence she landed in jail.

“She really wasn’t fully understanding of how the sentencing process works,” her attorney insisted.

As for the judge, Salas doesn’t think that anything has changed since the sentencing.

“I have set forth rather specifically and explicitly the reasoning for the sentence that I provided and I don’t think anything has changed since Oct. 2. The only thing that has changed is counsel,” the judge said about Teresa Giudice’s sentence.

Teresa Giudice will serve time in Danbury, which happens to be the jail where Orange Is the New Black was essentially created. It is located in Connecticut. It was planned that she would serve her time in West Virginia, where Martha Stewart served her time, because it would be a much nicer facility. But Teresa wanted to be close to her family.

According to The Inquisitr, Teresa Giudice will have plenty of things to think about while serving her time. She has been dropped by her crisis manager, and Teresa was recently dropped by Fabulicious Gelato after getting sentenced.

What do you think Teresa Giudice will do once she gets released?
