Adam Lind’s Ex-Girlfriend Takes Him To Court For Child Support
Adam Lind is heading back to court, but this time, it’s not for his ongoing legal troubles. Instead, the Teen Mom 2 star will appear in court to address child support for his one-year-old daughter, Paislee Mae Lind.
According to a new report, Lind’s ex-girlfriend, Taylor Halbur, filed documents with the Department of Social Services on October 15, requesting Lind pay child support for their daughter, Paislee.
“Taylor filed to get Adam to pay child support for Paislee,” a source told Radar Online on October 22. “Taylor was tired of Adam not paying child support, and now that Paislee is older, she thought it was about time that Adam step up and pay his part. Adam only sees Paislee a few days a month at most and now Paislee has more needs. It would be nice of Adam to put in some help because she is his daughter, too.”
Adam Lind and Taylor Halbur began dating about two years ago, following Lind’s split from Chelsea Houska, the mother of his oldest daughter, Aubree. Then, in May 2014, they split. However, because things ended civilly between them, Halbur wasn’t strict with Lind about paying child support. Since then, things have changed.
“Adam has never paid Taylor any child support since Paislee was born,” the source claimed. “Originally, the court had requested that Adam pay $550 a month, but Taylor never saw that money, and she never followed through with getting Adam to pay because they were still in a relationship on and off, but now that they are not together anymore, it’s about time that Adam helps out.”
Once he got word of Halbur’s child support request, Adam Lind concocted a plan of his own.
“Adam is threatening to take Taylor to court to try and get full custody of Paislee just because he doesn’t want to pay the child support,” the source said. “Adam’s reasoning for this logic is that Taylor doesn’t need money for Paislee’s daycare, and that he can take care of Paislee himself when Taylor needs someone to watch her. He says that his gym has a program for kids, but it isn’t like the type of program that Taylor has her daughter in. The gym only watches the kids and there is no structure to the gym babysitting.”
While Lind may want custody of his daughter, it is highly unlikely he’ll get it. Not only does he have three DUI arrests, multiple driving and drug-related charges, Lind was recently accused of steroid use and physical abuse.
“He’s grabbed me by the neck, thrown me around, all kinds of stuff,” Lind’s ex-girlfriend, Jessica Nicole, told Radar Online on October 14. In response to Nicole’s comments, and the shocking photos she provided, Lind denied using steroids. According to The Inquisitr, Lind claimed he was using B-12, not steroids.
Most recently, Lind’s ex-girlfriend, Jessica Nicole, accused him of doing steroids and physically hurting her. Pictures of Lind shooting himself up with a needle appeared online.
As The Inquisitr reported on October 1, Adam Lind is reportedly expecting his third child.
