Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary launch trailer starts the fight over again [Video]

A launch trailer for Microsoft and 343 Industries’ remake of FPS classic Halo: Combat Evolved surfaced on the ‘nets today, and it’s jam-packed with story points that you probably don’t want to see if you never played the original Halo. If you don’t want any plot points spoiled, that is.

For the rest of us, there’s plenty of iconic scenes sprinkled throughout the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary launch trailer that should get you feeling nostalgic for the game that changed the way we play first-person shooters on consoles.

As you’ll see in the trailer below, 343 Industries worked hard to get the classic FPS looking better than ever with a new graphics engine. If you would prefer to play it exactly as it released, however, you can revert the game back to the original engine at will.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is due out on Xbox 360 in North America on November 15, ten years after the release of the original Halo: Combat Evolved. Check out the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary launch trailer below.
