Renee Zellweger’s Bizarre New Face Explained By Plastic Surgeon

Renee Zellweger made her first public appearance in several months earlier this week, and her transformation was so stunning that people didn’t even recognise her at first.

The Bridget Jones’ Diary actress attended the Elle Magazine 21 Annual Women event in Hollywood on Monday night, which is when people were shocked by her new look. The Mirror have since contacted a top plastic surgeon, who has gone on to confirm that the 45-year-old has had a variety of different bits of work done.

Dr. Fuat Yuksel, a surgeon from Longevita, told the publication that she has undergone numerous procedures to get her vastly different features.

“It’s apparent that she has undergone a number of subtle cosmetic procedures to change the appearance of her face. Renee has undergone some facial procedures to contour the shape of her face including fillers around her nasolabial folds and cheeks to give her face a fuller appearance, plus botox around the brow area to tighten her skin and make it appear more youthful.”

It doesn’t stop there though. It’s also thought that the Me, Myself and Irene actress has gone on to have extreme surgery performed on her eye-bags too, as her eye-lids appear to have been severely reduced.

“The most significant procedure appears to be a blepharosplasty (eye-bag removal and lid reduction) which has opened up her eyes and face dramatically. In her youth, Renee had heavier lids which after time may cause a ‘droopy’ or ‘tired appearance’ but in more recent images it’s clear she’s had some skin and or fat removed which has opened up her eyes.”

An expert for The Daily Mail also went on to confirm that Renee’s smooth forehead is probably down to her use of Botox too. Dr Alex Karaidis, who works for Karaidis Clinic in London, explained to the publication, “Her forehead is smooth — you would expect more expressive wrinkles when she smiles which indicates a possible small dose of Botox between the eyelid and eye.”

This isn’t the first time that Zellweger has been accused of injecting herself with an ample amount of Botox. Back in 2013, The Inquisitr reported that she looked as though she had “chiselled cheek bones, a heavy browline, and an unusually smooth forehead.”

There’s no denying the fact that something quite drastic has taken place for Zellweger’s face to have transformed this much. And all signs currently suggest that plastic surgery is the real reason for her brand new face.
