Zombie Apocalypse Survival Cabin Has 10 Year Anti-Zombie Guarantee, But Only For Real Zombies

The threat of a zombie apocalypse due to a genetically modified Ebola outbreak could raise the question of how zombie proof is your home. The ongoing threat has inspired one log cabin company to offer the world’s first zombie proof log cabin, including a 10 year anti-zombie guarantee.

The ZFC-1, Zombie Fortification Cabin, is a log cabin kit designed with the walking dead in mind. Tiger Log Cabins advertises it as “the world’s first and only certified Zombie Proof Log Cabin.” The structure consists of three connected buildings and it’s featured qualities add up to a personal log fortress. On top of that, Tiger advertises a “10 year anti-zombie guarantee.”

Tiger Log Cabins is a UK based online retailer of interlocking log cabins. If you live in some areas of the UK you could have this home delivered for free.

The cabin kit comes stocked with reinforced slit windows, walls and doors; a barbed-wire surround; an escape hatch on top; and a living room with Xbox, TV and sound system. It comes with an arsenal storage unit to secure your anti-zombie weaponry. There’s also a toilet system, garage, kitchen area with microwave and an upper deck with a full view all around so you can keep an eye out for the oncoming horde. A garden section means you won’t have to take over an abandoned prison to start a small produce farm.

The customizable 44? x 30? cabin starts at $113,000 for the base model with no installation. The installation costs an additional $21,000, $3,000 for security cameras, and $5,600 for solar panels. Pricing for water cannon, search lights, or flame thrower packages to add to this defensible cabin are also available upon request, noted Nerd Approved.

One of the brilliant aspects of the cabin is the 10 year anti-zombie guarantee. Despite this, there may be no real way for a survivor to make claim on this guarantee in the event a horde surrounds the ZFC-1. Just in case, Tiger did make a stipulation for the 10 year anti-zombie guarantee to be honored.

Please note – we require medical evidence of the presence of a real zombie should you wish to claim under the 10 year anti zombie guarantee.

Even without all the zombie fortifications, the ZFC-1 seems like it would be a pretty sweet luxury cabin. The zombie-proofing is a nice just-in-case bonus.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, the Pentagon has prepared for a zombie apocalypse scenario. While in Kansas, Governor Sam Brownback has declared the month of October as Zombie Preparedness Month.

What do you think, would you make the ZFC-1, Zombie Fortification Cabin, your next getaway home?
