Dina Manzo Forced To Defend Her Charity: Jim Marchese Claims Donations Don’t Go To Children

Dina Manzo was on the first couple of seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and during her time on the show, she spent a great deal of time talking about her own charity, Project Ladybug. The charity tries to get enough money together to help children battling cancer. And while many people seem to be supporting the charity, as proven on last night’s season finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, there is one person who doesn’t seem to be as supportive.

Dina Manzo may have looked forward to the finale episode yesterday, because it ended with a Project Ladybug event, but her co-star’s husband was trying to ruin the night for her. On Twitter, Jim Marchese was making some interesting statements that left Dina defending her charity on Twitter.

According to a new report from Reality Ashhole, Dina Manzo claims the numbers that Jim is throwing out there are false. Jim claims that only $15,235 of the $107,266 earned was indeed spent on the children. But Dina Manzo claims that this isn’t correct.

Dina Manzo claims that she doesn’t take the money for herself. In fact, she states that the only people who get paid are the accountants and the attorneys.

“For the millionth time NO! We are a volunteer only charity – Only accountant and attorney get paid because we have to,” Dina Manzo tweeted last night.

The Project Ladybug event was held at Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano’s friend’s home – a woman named Abbey. Surely, Dina was thrilled about the event space, but Jim Marchese claims that the home wasn’t donated for the event. Jim didn’t go to the event, so it is interesting that he is being so judgmental.

Dina Manzo claims that production chose to the home for the event. It is no secret that Dina and Jim have not always been on the best of terms. While in Florida, Dina Manzo, and Marchese got into an argument over the things he was throwing at the twins during an argument. Manzo asked him to leave the next morning.

According to The Inquisitr, Dina Manzo has been feuding with Jim’s wife, Amber Marchese, on this season, so it is possible that Jim is just throwing these things out on Twitter to get back at Dina. All of this drama has caused Dina to question her return to the wildly successful reality show.

Do you think Dina Manzo should be defending her own charity on Twitter? Do you think she should return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey next year?
