Jason Momoa Talks Aquaman, Green Shorts, And Zack Snyder At Walker Stalker Con

Jason Momoa has had to hold back talking about his Aquaman role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, despite everyone knowing that it was happening. Warner Bros. Pictures finally made it official last week though, and that leaves Momoa free to make his first comments, sort of.

The former Game of Thrones star made an appearance Saturday at the Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta, Georgia. A video or transcript isn’t available yet, but several people on Twitter were able to snag pictures of the panel along with some choice quotes. As expected, Momoa doesn’t spoil anything or give away any big secrets. However, he does call Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder a genius, makes a good comeback about green pants, and says he’s going to save the universe. A hint at Justice League and beyond?

This last tweet from The Aquaman Shrine is interesting. It shows Momoa with an Aquaman comic featuring the bearded and hook handed version of the hero. This was part of the 90s run by DC Comics to make the character more edgy since he was the fodder for jokes for so long.

Snyder previously said that Aquaman has the “potential to be a bad a**” in a radio interview covered by The Inquisitr. If that’s the direction that the character is going for the movies, Momoa definitely looks the part. It’s what helped him get the role of Khal Drogo for Game of Thrones as seen in this audition video that went viral Sunday.
