WWE: ‘The Rock’ Dwayne Johnson Resented A ‘Little Bit’ For Being A Part-Timer, Says Seth Rollins

“The Rock” Dwayne Johnson may be popular, but according to Seth Rollins, there is a little bit of resentment over how he can waltz into Monday Night RAW in Brooklyn and immediately get a pop.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Dwayne Johnson’s father claims that Dick Murdoch was a racist KKK member, and a wrestling match once turned personal. The WWE is rumored to be considering bringing back a group like the Nation of Domination, which once featured “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson, and some people believe the idea is in response to accusations of racism in the WWE.

The most notorious part-timer of them all at this time is Brock Lesnar. But Monday Night RAW is already scheduling him for December, so Vince McMahon and Triple H must have realized that hiding the Beast until 2015 was not a good idea. Although fans may complain that Lesnar has only fought a handful of times in 2014, The Rock has not had a match since April 7, 2013, when Johnson went up against John Cena at WrestleMania 29.

The closet thing to a match happened at the recent Monday Night RAW showing in Brooklyn where The Rock exchanged words with Rusev, only to end with the Russian being tossed out of the ring. But that can’t exactly be called a “fight,” since it was fairly one-sided (as you can see from this video).

According to Wrestling Inc., Seth Rollins believes there is a wee bit of jealousy that The Rock can pull this off.

“Uhhhh…I mean there’s a little bit of resentment there there’s gotta be, but it’s mostly envy because we all want to have the level of success that he has. We want to have the ability to walk into a room and um, ya know be as well received as he was,” Rollins said. “Although, he did take the cheap route I think by um just talking about all the boroughs and wearing his little Brooklyn jacket. But that’s The Rock, that’s how he does his thing.”

Of course, Dwayne Johnson does have a very good reason to be a WWE part-timer. The Rock suffered multiple injuries in his match with John Cena. Doctors required him to undergo surgery, and that held up his filming schedule. Although fans, and even Vince McMahon, would want to see The Rock return for WrestleMania 31, there’s a good chance his involvement will be limited since Hollywood would not want their star to be injured right before they begin filming his next big action movie.
