Creepy Clown Sightings Increase: Towns Nationwide Terrorized By Halloween Pranksters [Video]
After the news of creepy clowns terrifying the residents of Wasco and Bakersfield, California, earlier this month, menacing-looking clowns began showing up across the country.
The Inquisitr recently reported on the scary, weapon-brandishing clowns in California, which were allegedly inspired by an unrelated photography project.
Now copycat clowns across the country are showing up. Residents of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jacksonville, Florida, and Fishers, Indiana, are reporting creepy clown sightings as well.
A home surveillance video, shown on News4Jax, caught a clown in Jacksonville, Florida, destroying a pumpkin on one homeowner’s porch, and KRQU reported on another creepy clown, who showed up outside Frontier Restaurant in Albuquerque, and later posted pictures of himself to Instagram.
In Indiana, residents of Fisher have called police to report a creepy clown walking around residential areas holding balloons, and pictures have been posted by Twitter users.

Some people find the sightings amusing, saying it is just a harmless Halloween prank. Others think they should be stopped.
However, none of the copycat clowns have been accused of committing any crimes – other than scaring people silly – and there are no laws against dressing up like a clown and walking down the street.
Do you think the creepy clown sightings are funny? Or should the people doing it face criminal charges for scaring people?
