‘Destiny’: Xur’s Location And Exotic Goods For Weekend Of Oct. 17
Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is back in Destiny for the weekend of Friday, October 17. It’s time to gather your Strange Coins and Motes of Light, PlayStation and Xbox players, for there is a new set of Exotic armor and weapons to purchase.
Those looking for Xûr should head turn right and head toward the hangar after spawning at the Tower. Once you’ve gone through the long hallway and entered the hangar, turn right and you will see the mysterious seller of Exotics. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map just to be sure though.
Xûr and his items will only be available through the morning of Sunday, October 12. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.
Here is what Xûr is currently selling. A special thanks to DestinyDB for providing the information on each Exotic item. He is selling almost all new items that have not been available previously. The one exception is the Achlyophage Symbiote Hunter Helmet.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The Truth rocket launcher will serve you well in the Crucible PVP thanks to the Prototype Trueseeker upgrade perk that allows it home in on targets. That is as long as you’re the type that gets the Heavy Weapon Ammo drops on a regular basis. The large blast radius also makes it good for clearing out enemy minions in PVE and you need a good Void weapon.
The Amramentarium chest armor for Titans is for those that like to use their special weapon, heavy weapon, and grenades frequently. It comes with three upgrade perks that allows users to carry additional ammo for the two weapons classes plus carry an extra grenade.
The Achlyophage Symbiote’s upgrade perks make it for Hunters of the Gunslinger sub-class only. If you love the Golden Gun super ability, you’ll enjoy the fact that it gives you one additional shot from the super ability.
Lastly, the Light Beyond Nemesis helmet for the Warlock Sunsinger sub-class is possibly the closest to a medic there is in the game. The Keeper of the Pack upgrade perk allows you to revive teammates faster and vice versa. That extra time not spent reviving fallen teammates can be crucial during tight encounters.
