Jessie J Thinks Nude Photos Are Part Of A Healthy Relationship

Jessie J is in the process of spreading the good word about her latest album, Sweet Talker. What better way to get people’s undivided attention than to discuss a hot topic?

Since everyone and their selfie-loving grandmothers are discussing the fallout from the so-called “Fappening,” the aforementioned British singer decided to toss her thoughts into the seemingly endless mix of opinions. The fact that she has a brand new record to promote is surely just a coincidence, right? Maybe not this time. Sorry, Jessie.

According to Channel 24, Jessie J firmly believes that sending naked photos to your special someone is essential to a happy, healthy long-distance relationship. Since this brand of romance is often incredibly hard to maintain, giving your partner a little digital eye candy is extremely important. In her opinion, of course.

“I’m human and every single woman in this industry is in a long-distance relationship so sometimes you gotta throw things down to keep your man.”

Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the “Bang Bang” singer believes that these intimate images should eventually end up stimulating the general population. Jessie was quick to explain that she thinks the iCloud hacking fiasco is nothing short of deplorable.

“At the end of the day, yes, it’s awful and disgusting, it happens, but I think if you’re famous you’re going to have to expect these things will happen.”

Jessie J’s opinion about nude photos isn’t entirely off the mark. For example, The Inquisitr previously reported that Jennifer Lawrence originally took those revealing photos for her boyfriend to enjoy while the pair were apart. In her opinion, the guy was going to either look at her or random naked people online (read: porn).

Lawrence told Vanity Fair about her reaction to the Fappening.

“[Every] single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry. I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”

Although Jessie J believes that people should shoot some naked photos for their significant others from time to time, the singer certainly believes there’s a time and place for everything. In fact, Jessie showed her support for a new British ratings system that would essentially determine which music videos are okay for the kiddies.

“When I was young, I wouldn’t have been allowed to listen to my music … like some of my fans are very, very young. I think ‘Price Tag’ was great but there are some songs I think are too raunchy and I think that… those sort of things (the age rating scheme) being put in place are what we need to establish what people should be able to listen too[sic].”
